The girls tipped off first and the Lady Blue Devil defeated Frederick Douglass 59-40.  Kiya Thompson led the way  with 33 points and eight grader Amiya Jenkins recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Henry Clay boys’ and girls’ basketball teams both won their 3rd straight 42nd District titles Thursday at Scott County High School.
