Bass Fishing Team Qualifies for State Tournament

Harris Hawkins and Keaston Brown, both Herald Leader All City and All 11th Regional Tourney hoopsters, became the first Henry Clay team to qualify for the Bass Fishing State Tournament this weekend at the Regional Tournament at Lake Cumberland finishing in 20th place out of 198 boats. Girls Track Takes 2nd, Boys 5th at Henry Clay Allcomers meet

With several athletes resting for a big invitational meet in Louisville this weekend and others trying out new events, the boys’ and girls’ teams powered to strong showings.   The girls finished second behind Woodford County with 64.5 points, while the boys finished fifth with 56 points – only five points out of third place.

Track Teams Continue Strong Showing at Dunbar Meet

Strong Showing for Track Team at 2019 Commodore Classic

Both the boys’ and girls’ track teams had solid performances this weekend in a meet held at Tates Creek.   The boys were led by Langston Jackson who helped total 30 points and set a meet record in the 100 M and finished 8th out of 21 teams and only three points out of sixth

Marques Warrick Named to Kentucky’s Junior All-Star Team

Junior Marques Warrick and senior Keaston Brown were named to the boys All-City basketball team.
