Queen Anna Mae Flannery and King Louie Kessinger

Homecoming Queen Ms. Anna Mae Flannery.

Anna Mae is the daughter of Vanessa Flannery and Max Flannery.

Anna Mae is a 6 year varsity cheerleader, and EAP mentor, and the spirit club social media director.

Anna Mae is also a member of the National Honor Society, 2018 Youth Salute and a Furman Scholar.

Her future plans are to attend college as a pre-med major and minor in French with the goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.

Homecoming King  Mr. Louie Kessinger.

Louie is the son of Mr. Tom Kessinger & Mrs. Amy Kessinger.

Louie is the captain of the baseball team, president of the spirit club, vice president of the Senior Class, and a member of YoungLife.

Louie has received the Good Citizenship Award, is 1st Team All City Baseball, and Perfect Game Baseball Regional Top Prospect Awards.

Louie’s future plans are to go to college for baseball and to study business.

His baseball glove’s name is Sage.

Nominee for Homecoming Queen is Ms. Lydia Blues.

Lydia is the daughter of Ms. Jackelyn Blues & Mr. Andrew Blues.

Lydia is a Captain of the Varsity Soccer Team, Philosophy Club, GSA, History Club and Beta Club.

Lydia has been awarded the Outstanding Technical Design Award and the Architectural Award of Excellence.

Her future plans are to either attend the Pratt Institute in New York or the University of Cincinnati.

Homecoming King Candidate Mr. Bronson Thomas aka Big B-Ron.

Bronson is the son of Reggie Thomas and Laura Thomas.

Bronson is a Varsity football player and loves attending other sport games during the off season.

Bronson is a big Despicable Me fan because Agnes is adorable.

His future plans are to attend college and major in athletic training.

Nominee for Homecoming Queen is Ms. Ally Tripure.

Ally is the daughter of John and Christi Tripure.

Ally is a member of the cross country team, track & field team, swim team, and wind and jazz ensemble.

Ally is a National Honor Society President and a Governor’s Scholar. She was the 2018 All District Jazz Band 1st Trumpet.

Ally received the First Team All State Academic Award for Track.

Her future plans are to double major in kinesiology and psychology with a minor in business. She hopes to become a physical therapist and open her own practice.

 Homecoming King Candidate Mr. Max Wagner.

Max is the son of Etel and James Wagner.

Max is a member of the ultimate Frisbee, Forgotten History and HCHS History Club.

Max plans to attend EKU and major in aviation.

Max would like everyone to know his middle name is Leopold.

 

Nominee for Homecoming Queen is Ms. Keller Hufana.

Keller is the daughter of Richard Hufana and Kris Newman.

Keller is a member of the history club, young republicans, track team and FCA.

Keller received 1st place in the state-wide printmaking competition.

She hopes to attend university and major in physical sciences to later become a physical therapist.

Homecoming King Candidate Mr. Cedric Dixon aka RealCeddy.

Cedric is the son of Viola Dixon and Cedric Dixon.

Cedric is #60 for the Blue Devils Football team. He is also an active member of the HCHS Chorus.

Cedric is the funniest and most popular person at Henry Clay.

His future plans are to go to Full Sail University for Music.

Nominee for Homecoming Queen is Ms. Sarah Palmer.

Sarah is the daughter of Walter and Sandra Palmer.

Sarah is the March Band Drum Major and member of the Wind Ensemble.

Sarah is a member of the Dance Blue Committee, is Fayette county’s top female Archer in 2018, and a Governor’s Scholar.

Her future plans are to attend college.

 Homecoming King Candidate Mr. Gabriel Rivera. 

Gabe is the son of Ms. Rachel Cintron.

Gabe is a member of the marching band, a captain in the ROTC, and on the wrestling team.

Gabe hopes to receive an ROTC scholarship to Virginia Tech or UK and major in mechanical engineering.

Gabe really really really loves his dog Nova and would like to give shouts out to “my homie, Nova”

Nominee for Homecoming Queen is Ms. Daya Hall.

Daya is the daughter of Erica Hall.

Daya’s future plans are to go to college and major in business with the aspirations of becoming a professional make-up artist.

This is only Daya’s second year at Henry Clay.

Homecoming King Candidate Mr. Ramond Jackson.

Ramon is the son is Mr. Ramond Richard & Ms. Erica Jackson.

Ramond is a three sport athlete. He plays football, basketball & track and field.

Ramond was 1st team city two consecutive years and honorable mention for all-state football team.

His future plans are to play college football.

Henry Clay Class of 2020 Junior Princess is Iris Haley Brown.

Iris is the daughter of Ira and Lolita Brown.

Iris is a member of the Henry Clay Color Guard, theatre, and mentoring program.

Iris has received the excellence in literature award.

Her future plans are to attend Asbury University to major in film and photography with the hopes of starting a small film business.

Henry Clay Class of 2020 Junior Prince, DJ Vanhorn.

DJ is the son of Ms. Carla Van Horn & Mr. Darrin Van Horn.

DJ is a 3rd year football player at Henry Clay and runs track.  

DJ received the Offensive MVP award his freshmen and sophomore years. He has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.

DJ’s future plans include playing football in college and major in athletic training.

DJ would like to give a shout out to his siblings Blake, Hayden and Jax!

Henry Clay Class of 2021 Sophomore Princess is Mercy Teah 

Mercy is the daughter of Svedy Mansaray.

Mercy is a member of the Dance Team and Student Council.

Her future plans are to go to college and complete a bachelor’s degree.

Henry Clay Class of 2021 Sophomore Prince Buddy Goodwin.

Buddy is the son of Buddy and Kelly Goodwin.

Buddy has received class awards for Algebra 2, Spanish 2, and Biology.

His future plans are to go to college to become an engineer.

Henry Clay Class of 2022 Freshman Princess is Bella Webb.

Bella is the daughter of Kevin and Leanna Webb.

Bella is a member of the Henry Clay Dance Team.

Henry Clay Class of 2022 Freshman Prince, Preston Stacy.

Preston is the son of Rebecca & Rob Agnew and Lee Stacy.

Preston is a football & basketball player for Henry Clay. Preston was the starting running back for the KY All Star Team.

Preston was also invited to and attended to run at the state track meet.
