A walk-off double led Henry Clay Blue Devils past Apollo 8-7 on Saturday. The game was tied at seven with Henry Clay Blue Devils batting in the bottom of the eighth when Luke Wilson doubled off of Payne, driving in one run.

Apollo scored five runs in the first inning, but Henry Clay Blue Devils still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Apollo came thanks to a error, a groundout by Greer, a single , and a error.

Apollo captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Apollo.

Apollo knotted the game up at seven in the top of the sixth inning. With two outs in the sixth inning Hopewell drove in one run when he doubled.
